We DO NOT use damaging single jet lance type pressure washing techniques, instead favouring rotary cleaning which is much gentler on your surfaces. Our Whirlaway machine operates safely by spreading the water pressure evenly across the surface so as not to destroy delicate material between blocks or sub-base. Andy recently renovated our drive and patio. I use the word ‘renovated’, because frankly both were in a pretty bad way… The cobbled drive was choked with weeds, where the pointing between each cobble once was. The Indian sandstone flags on the patio were left an uninspiring mix of greys & blacks from years without attention. Many of the joints between the flags were open, and the daffodils were definitely winning! I first spoke to Andy when we bought the house, and I’ve got to be honest – I was pretty confident from our initial phone call that the results were going to be impressive; there isn’t much Andy doesn’t know about stonework, and his passion is infectious! But I really didn’t expect it would turn out as well as it has… The result is EXCELLENT! Way better than we could have possibly hoped for – Andy says they’re not perfect, but I’d swear they’re near as damn-it! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Andy and his wife Cathy – all-round, excellent service from start to finish.
